In 2016 I acquired my first vinyl record. It was Disasterpeace's “FEZ” soundtrack. I had no way of playing it at the time, but there was something satisfying about owning a video game soundtrack on an analog medium. In the coming years, I would gather a few other records: TWRP - Omnibus, Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85-92, and Chris Remo - Firewatch (another fantastic game soundtrack). Fast-forward to January 2024, I finally splurged on a turntable, dusted off my collection, and finally unlocked their music. The rest is history, so to speak. I'll let the following list summarize my enjoyment for listening to music on vinyl.
